The Company

At Genespire, we develop off-the-shelf gene therapies. Our proprietary immune shielded lentiviral vectors (ISLV) are designed to allow life-long production of a therapy directly from a patient’s liver, offering a one-time treatment for adults and children with genetic diseases.

Genespire is led by an experienced and international management team with experience from renowned biotech companies and world-class biopharmaceutical organizations. The company is located in Milan, Italy, and was co-founded by the gene therapy pioneer Prof. Luigi Naldini and Dr. Alessio Cantore, Fondazione Telethon and Ospedale San Raffaele.
